After School Programs
Our after-school program builds on the same values that guide our summer adventures—exploration, play, connection, and leadership—while offering the consistency kids thrive in during the school year. Through familiar routes, trusted guides, and a steady group of peers, kids gain confidence, independence, and a strong sense of belonging and shared adventure!

Flexible Scheduling
Our rolling drop-off window and early start right after school create a smooth, supported transition into the afternoon. Families appreciated our 3:00pm school pick-up option from Durango Montessori, allowing kids to settle in, connect, and ease into the program at their own pace.

Hybrid Programming
Our mix of outdoor adventure and indoor enrichment lets us easily adjust our itinerary and bike tours to handle weather shifts or family schedule changes with ease. Returning to well-loved field trip locations builds confidence, while new routes, activities, and adventures keep afternoons fresh and engaging.

Always On The Move
We are a mobile outdoor program that base camps out of local parks and community spaces throughout Durango, Colorado.
Each week, groups explore a variety of field trip locations connected by the Animas River Trail and surrounding trail systems.
Your group’s weekly base camp locations and field trip schedule will be shared prior to the start of your program session.
